I traded in my power pumps for flip flops in 2005 when I left my corporate job to become an innkeeper.  Since it is for vacation lodging cottages, I have the best of both worlds.  The relaxed lifestyle of innkeeping without the early morning rush of cooking breakfast.

While I have the luxury of sleeping in as long as the laundry is done, breakfast is absolutely my favorite meal of the day.  I'll even have it for dinner sometimes.  And I have the highest respect for the lifelong friends we've made and fellow business owners in this industry that wake up morning after morning to spend time in the kitchen to wow their guests. Over the past couple of years I've had the pleasure to learn a hundred different ways to make breakfast and I'm excited to share them with you here on Inn The Kitchen.
